Three members of the Department of Textile Engineering of the Ege-University have founded a National IFKT-Section Turkey on September 2009. We welcome the new colleagues in our group of knitting specialists.

Prof. Dr. Sc. Miroslav Srdjak, IFWS-Sektion Kroatien, gestorben
Unser Kollege, Herr Prof.Dr.Sc. Miroslav Srdjak, ist am 25. Februar 2009 im Alter von 67 Jahren verstorben. Er war der Gründer der IFWS-Sektion Kroatien im Jahre 1994 und deren Präsident bis 2008. Die Sektion Kroatien organisierte unter seiner Leitung im Jahre 2002 den 41. Inter- nationalen Kongress der IFWS in Zagreb mit großem Erfolg.
Die IFWS trauert um einen allseits geschätzten und kooperativen Kollegen und wird ihn in guter Erinnerung behalten.

Prof.Dr.Sc. Miroslav Srdjak, IFKT-Section Croatia, dead
Our colleague, Prof.Dr.Sc. Miroslav Srdjak, has died on 25th February 2009 in the age of 67 years. He was the founder of the National IFKT-Section of Croatia in 1994 and was its president till 2008. The National Section of Croatia organised the 41. International Congress of the IFKT in Zagreb in the year 2002 with great success.
The IFKT mourns for an estimated and cooperative colleague and will keep him in good memory.
